Approved by CAPES in 2015, the main goal of the Master Program is to stimulate the formation of Professors, Researchers and qualified professionals dedicated to technology diffusion, enterprising, research, and regional development, as well as one health. Therefore, would stimulate the sustainable improvement of health indexes, animal productivity, and population life quality, especially on Alagoas state.

It is noteworthy the higher demand for highly skilled professionals on Pet market, mainly on clinical and surgical areas, allowing high-quality attention to pet's population. This would impact positively on animal health and welfare.

Moreover, it is expected that former grad students develop their capability of taking precise and accurate decisions, based on critical and objective analysis of the problems and variables. The stimuli to individual autonomy, strengthened by applied techniques and methodologies on the formation of researchers and Professors, will positively impact the local reality through strategies on innovation, education, health, and animal production on private or public services; ultimately on social and economic development.
