  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Introduction: In December 2000, the Ministry of Health, through ordinance 1444, included Oral Health Teams in the Family Health Strategy, providing an expansion of the population's access to oral health services and actions in Brazil. These teams need to obtain the oral health diagnosis of the assigned area in order to carry out an effective and impactful planning. Currently, physical forms are used for the execution of the oral health needs assessment. Objective: to develop and evaluate a prototype application for the consolidation and systematization of epidemiological data related to oral health. Methods: methodological studies with a descriptive quantitative approach carried out in an area covered by the Family Health Strategy. It was divided into two phases. In the first phase, a prototype application was developed using a simplified version of the SCRUM agile methodology. In the second phase, the created prototype was used as a tool for data collection and consolidation to obtain the oral health situational diagnosis of a defined area. According to Charan and Biswas's (2013) studies, a sample of 384 participants was used to achieve a reliability level of 95%. Results: a prototype of an application was developed for the collection and consolidation of epidemiological data on oral health. In this way, it was found that in the studied population, 47.14% of individuals have 6 or more decayed teeth, 26.30% have 1 to 5 decayed teeth, 26.56% have no decayed teeth, 36.46% have periodontal disease, 55.21% require dental prostheses, 17.45% have risk factors for oral cancer, and 9.38% smoke; 1.56% consume alcoholic beverages; 4.95% use dental prostheses; and 5.21% have changes in the oral mucosa. It was also possible to develop an educational product to accompany prenatal dental care in primary healthcare. Conclusion: the prototype of the application created was responsible for the systematization of information on oral health of the studied population and for the creation of a virtual speaking map of the territory. This resulted in a gain of time and practicality for updating the data. The developed interactive guide will provide guidance for conducting a qualified dental prenatal care and achieving the agreed target for Indicator 3 of Previne Brasil.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Introduction: In 2019, a new financing model for Primary Health Care (PHC) was launched – the ‘Programa Previne Brasil’. At the end of that same year, a new coronavirus emerged that resulted in a pandemic, declared on March 11, 2020 by the World Health Organization, with impact all components of the health system were affected – from primary to tertiary care. Objective: To analyze the performance indicators of primary health care (Previne Brasil) in Alagoas, Brazil, during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: An ecological study, with the municipalities of Alagoas as units of analysis, where seven PHC performance indicators were analyzed in the three four-month periods of 2020. For the comparative analysis of the four-month periods, Friedman's nonparametric test was used and for the spatial analysis, Moran's Global and Local statistics are used. The study did not need to be considered by the Research Ethics Committee, given that it used data in the public domain. Results: There was no difference in the performance of the municipalities in the three quarters in the following indicators: proportion of pregnant women with at least 6 (six) prenatal consultations performed, proportion of pregnant women with dental care performed and coverage of Pap smear. No municipality reached the goal related to the percentage of hypertensive people with blood pressure measured in each semester and, regarding the percentage of diabetics with request for glycated hemoglobin, only two municipalities reached the goal in the third four months. The state's median ISF in the first quarter (3.6; IQR 1.5) was lower than that observed in the second (4.2; IQR 1.6) and in the third quarter (4.4; IQR 2.1) ( p < 0.001). Between the second and third quarters, no difference was observed (p = 0.060). In this indicator, a cluster composed of seven municipalities with the best performance was observed in the southern region and a cluster composed of five municipalities with the worst performance was recorded in the north of the state. Conclusion: The goals of the Previne Brasil indicators were not achieved by the vast majority of Alagoas municipalities. It is recommended that support plans for municipalities can be developed and implemented by the state.

  • The Supervised Curricular Internship (ECS) has been pointed out as a strategy adopted to strengthen the articulation between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the service. This study aimed to analyze the perception of health professionals in relation to the Supervised Curricular Internship in Dentistry that takes place in a Family Health Strategy Unit in the city of Maceió - AL. This is a qualitative research, developed with data collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed according to Content Analysis. From the analysis, four categories were established: “Actions developed in the ECS”, “Difficulties in the ECS in the view of the professionals”, “Suggestions offered by the professionals”, “Contributions of the ECS in the view of the professionals”. The results showed that the ECS in Dentistry needs an analysis and joint planning with the preceptors of the other internships and the entire team to adjust the number of trainees who perform ECS in the unit in question, and that although health professionals see the contributions of students to expand the actions developed, whether through engagement or contributions made by them, understand that student motivation is seen as a key factor for the development of activities and strengthening the bond with professionals and the ESF, directly interfering with learning and in the development of critical reflection of the practical issues addressed. This research also generated as a product a workshop with the objective of socializing the results with the responsible actors and involved in the ECS development in Dentistry in the ESF Unit - Guaxuma, as well as bringing the HEIs and the management of the reality of the health services closer and defining strategies, actions and agreements to be developed by those involved in the ECS, in order to improve its performance.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Health surveillance (HS) emerged as a result of the need to reformulate the current health care model and reorient the organization of health care, including new participants such as health professionals and the population, in addition to inserting the social determinants of health. This expansion in its concept brings a new approach with the objective of inserting all levels of health care, especially primary care. The integration between health surveillance and primary health care is one of the challenges for the SUS, being necessary to achieve comprehensiveness and solve the population's health problems. This study aims to understand how professionals from the Family Health Strategy and health surveillance understand the integrated work of these services. The study had an exploratory quantitative approach and was carried out through an online Google Forms® questionnaire with the health surveillance coordinators and health professionals who make up the Family Health Strategy teams of the Units of a municipality. Data analysis was performed using the Google Sheets® program and the Epi Info 7® program. The results showed that, in relation to FHS professionals, 28.8% understand the disease as central focus of HS; 74.7% agree that case reporting is the main objective of HS; 16.4% do not understand the territory as one of the principles of HS, 91.8% believe that HS is very necessary and should be included in the FHS, 78.1% say that HS is not centralized in health departments, 35 .6% reported occasionally participating in planning meetings and 45.2% said they rarely or never participated in evaluation meetings, 46% considered the level of integration between services regular and little difficult (40.4%) and 98% considered it necessary strengthen this integration of services. Regarding the HS coordinators, it was seen that they agreed that the disease is the focus of surveillance and there was disagreement about the main objective of HS. There was also disagreement between the coordinators on some of the issues addressed, such as the level of satisfaction regarding the integration of services, still differing from the FHS professionals. Unlike the FHS professionals, the coordinators reported little difficulty in carrying out integrated work with primary care, but they also agreed that it is very necessary to strengthen the integration between services. Based on the research results, an educational product was developed, an interactive guide, based on the CTM3 methodology in order to guide health professionals about HS, primary care and the integration of services, facilitating the professionals' learning process. Health on the subject. The study pointed to a disassembly between the different levels of care and the lack of dialogue between the FHS and the central level, which weakens the health system and makes it difficult to integrate services.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Introduction: Prenatal care aims to ensure the development of a healthy pregnancy through its clinical follow-up, psychosocial aspects, educational and preventive activities. Dental prenatal care is an integral part of it, through clinical care, oral health prevention and promotion activities, which guarantee the health of the pregnant woman and the baby in the intrauterine phase, in addition to the continuity of postnatal care. Objective: To characterize dental prenatal care in the city of Feira Grande, Alagoas, Brazil, in order to ensure comprehensive health care for pregnant women and babies. Methods: Cross-sectional observational study with a quantitative-qualitative approach, carried out in the Family Health Strategy (FHS) of Feira Grande, Alagoas, Brazil. Interviews were conducted with dentists and pregnant women assisted by the ESF. The sociodemographic variables of dentists and pregnant women, characterization of prenatal care, technical knowledge of dental surgeons about their work in dental prenatal care and pregnant women's perception of dental prenatal care were analyzed. In the quantitative analysis, the variables were described in relative and absolute frequency. In the qualitative analysis, simple descriptive textual analysis was performed. Results: From the perspective of dentists, the potentialities were: the performance of dental prenatal care in 100% of the ESF and the consensus on the association between periodontal disease and risks in pregnancy as well as the choice of the second trimester as the best period for pregnant women. Difficulties: lack of specific training, lack of clear knowledge about care practices, insecurity in performing dental practices, lack of clarity regarding clinical conduct in the dental field. From the perspective of pregnant women, the potentialities were: 15 out of the 16 pregnant women stated there was dental care for pregnant women in their respective ESF, all reported that they considered going to the dentist to be important, 11 out of the 16 reported having been scheduled for a dental appointment before requesting an appointment. Difficulties: lack of knowledge about the importance of prenatal care, centrality in the role of nursing in the indication/referral, absence of groups of pregnant women focused on dental care, necessity to organize care, hesitation/fear. Conclusion: Although the coverage of dental prenatal care in the city is satisfactory, it is important to improve the quality of the service. It is recommended that permanent education plans aimed at dental surgeons are implemented, as well as the entire ESF team in the city, to improve and strengthen dental prenatal care.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • The population's difficulties in accessing health services in Primary Health Care are identified as a major obstacle to its consolidation as the organizer of the Health Care Network in the Unified Health System. Welcoming is seen as a mechanism that makes it possible to expand access to the user and carry out the Primary Care mission as the main gateway to the system. This study aimed to know the understanding of professionals and users about the organization and implementation of user embracement in the work process in a Basic Health Unit in the city of Neópolis, Sergipe. This is a qualitative, observational study. The research participants were 13 health professionals and 10 users of a Basic Health Unit in the urban area of that municipality. Data were collected through individual interviews, which were recorded. Data analysis was based on the theory of content analysis, in four phases, as recommended by Malheiros. From the data analysis, two categories were established, the first category "Perception of reception" and subcategories "in relationships", "in the quality of care", "in the work routine" and "in professional qualification" and the second category " Welcoming in the work process” with the subcategories “difficulties and access barriers” and “user flow in the Basic Health Unit”. The results showed that both professionals and users correlated reception with the field of relationships between them, being recognized in all spaces. It was also possible to identify the need for better management of the agenda, behaviors and postures as barriers to access and shortage of materials and medicines that can contribute as obstacles. The lack of professional preparation was another point which may suggest a deficiency on the part of the management. Welcoming is identified as a quality tool in the SUS and reflections on the flow of users in the unit must be carried out, evaluating professional practice in an articulated way among professionals with the involvement of local managers for its effectiveness. Thus, this research generated as a product a training where pedagogical workshops will be held, with the objective of training professionals to structure the practice of reception in the organization of the work process.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Leprosy is considered a public health problem in several
countries worldwide, due to the high number of new cases,
morbidity and socioeconomic impacts that are results from its
complications. Recent studies have shown that leprosy patients
may report experiencing chronic pain during treatment or post-
discharge, which affects physical and emotional well-being,
relationships, leading to psychological problems and social
isolation. There are basically two types of chronic pain that may
be present in leprosy patients: a) neuropathic pain and b)
nociceptive pain. However, little is known about their prevalence
in this population. Moreover, it is believed that pain can be
associated with a worse quality of life in this population. Thus,
this study aims to identify the prevalence of chronic pain, its
types and to verify the association between pain and quality of
life in and people affected by leprosy being treated or followed up
in Arapiraca, Alagoas, Brazil. For this purpose, a cross-sectional
study was conducted regarding individuals older than 15 years
affected by leprosy, of both sexes, under treatment or post-

discharge follow-up in the Reference Center for the disease in
the municipality of Arapiraca, Alagoas, Brazil, in the period from
August 2018 to March 2020. Data collection was collected from
the application of an instrument addressing clinical and
demographic data. Medical records and notification forms were
consulted to complement such information. Then, we evaluated:
    a) quality of life using the WHO-QoL-BREF questionnaire; and b)
the characterization of pain using the Douler Neuropathique en 4
questions (DN4) for individuals who reported pain. Both
questionnaires are validated to be applied in Brazil. All the
information obtained were coded and entered into a database.
Exploratory analyses were conducted in order to identify the
prevalence of pain, and its types, as well as to verify the
association between pain and quality of life. The individuals were
informed about the objectives of the study, invited to participate
and to sign the Informed Consent Form. The study was
approved by the Ethics Committee on Research of the Federal
University of Alagoas (UFAL) (Protocol No. 3938849) and
followed all the recommendations of the Helsinki Declaration and
CONEPE Resolution n˚ 466/2012. The information to be
obtained by the present study is essential to know the impact of
chronic pain and its types on the quality of life of people affected
by leprosy. In addition, such information will serve as a basis to
guide public health policies to address the main problems
    resulting from leprosy.

  • The number of related accidents and illnesses allows quantifying and constructing some indicators, being one of the reliable sources for estimating the severity potential of these events that affect workers. Among them, there are the mortality coefficients, the lethality rate and the potential risks of serious accidents in a specific industry or company. The workers' health indicators, based on work accidents, allow an assessment of the relationships between men and the relationships established in their work space. They are easy to identify and measure indicators, as long as the flow of relevant information is known and practiced. The notification of accidents and illnesses related to work is a legal requirement and through it data are provided regarding the number and distribution of these events, the characteristics of the occurrences and the victims. For this reason, the presentation of these results through epidemiological data and other strategies with statistical bases is an indispensable element for the indication, application and control of preventive measures and public policies aimed at reducing the occurrences of these diseases. However, what is seen is the underreporting of these accidents, due to the existence of institutional and personal challenges that act in the notification process of these injuries, constituting a limiting factor from the point of view of public health, preventive and legal. In view of this scenario, we are motivated then to make a study of the factors related to the causes of underreporting in the Health Units of the city of Maceió-AL, together with the Medicine and Nursing professionals, to proceed with the analysis of the data obtained through the treatment statistical analysis and content analysis, culminating with the proposition of tools and permanent education actions that aim to reduce underreporting in Primary Health Care

  • Leprosy is an infectious disease, caused by mycobacterium leprae, which has a preference for skin and peripheral nerves, resulting in dermatoneurological lesions and physical and functional disabilities. Its transmission occurs through the upper airways of untreated patients and its highest incidence occurs in low socioeconomic classes, due to some factors, such as multi-exposure, greater agglomeration, low educational level, nutrition and housing. Despite advances in the fight against leprosy, Brazil is the only country that has not yet reached the goal of eliminating the disease as a public health problem. Sergipe, in 2018, presented a general detection coefficient of 14.4 / 100 thousand inhabitants (n = 323 cases), a prevalence of 1.8 / 100 thousand (n = 414) and a detection rate in children under 15 years of age 5 , 0/100 thousand (n = 29) indicating its presence and the recent transmission force of the endemic in the state. In Estância, in 2018 the general detection coefficient was 4.4 / 100 thousand (n = 3 cases), the general prevalence was 0.7 / 10 thousand (n = 5 cases) and the general detection coefficient in children under 15 years old of 5.6 / 100 thousand (n = 1 case). Bairro Cidade Nova, the setting for this study, has social characteristics that express social vulnerability, however with few reported cases. This study aims to investigate the existence of hidden leprosy transmission in the Cidade Nova neighborhood, Estância, Sergipe. This is a prevalence study, covering an active search for new leprosy cases, contact examinations of new cases identified from this active search, in addition to contact examinations of leprosy cases registered in the neighborhood in the last five years.

  • Resumen Espectáculo
  • Albinism corresponds to a group of genetic abnormalities of the melanic pigmentation system, which affect the skin, hair follicles and eyes, causing vulnerability to sun exposure and presents as an extremely clear skin stereotype, requiring that care are observed, so as not to cause diseases. Although this is an important part of the population, there is not much statistical data about albinism in Brazil, and because they are not included in the demographic census of the country, it makes them a portion of the population invisible to the eyes of the public authorities regarding the creation of specific public policies aimed at this condition. This project aims to know the profile and describe the therapeutic health itinerary of the albino population, in the perspective of identifying the paths taken by these subjects in an attempt to improve health care, considering the practices socio-cultural aspects. This is a cross-sectional, exploratory study of a qualitative nature, whose research subjects will be 10 albino people, aged 18 years and older, belonging to the areas of Family Health Teams belonging to the 3rd Health District, municipality of Arapiraca-AL. For data collection, semi-structured interviews, recorded in digital media, will be used for later transcription whose data analysis will follow Bardin's perspective. The project will be submitted to the Ethics Committee on Research with Human Beings of the Federal University of Alagoas. The study is justified by deepening the discussion about the albino population because little is known about the reality of their patients in their needs, difficulties and facilities for health care through the therapeutic itinerary, in the municipal scenario, considering the possibility of developing, as a product of research, actions to minimize the health inequities of this population.

  • Introduction: Primary Care constitutes itself as an entrance to the Unified Health System (SUS). The first contact between users, community, and health professionals should happen in this context. The embracement is a guideline of the technical assistance model that aims to assure universal access. The evaluation or potential risk classification or even the grievance to user's health should be protocol-based and directed to the attendance order considering the need of every single user. To embrace and rank the risk of spontaneous demand in health basic unity can offer support to the integral care through the increase of bounds between users and the health care team. Spontaneous demand is the way a user searches the health basic unity without an appointment. This work runs on research in a primary care unity, analyzing the embracement and risk classification from the view of its professional team. Results are presented as paper and a product, to attend to the necessities identified. Objective: find out the embracement process and risk classification related to a family health care unity spontaneous demand. To elaborate an app prototype to increase strength into the embracement in that unity. Method: the work results from qualitative research were realized with 10 basic health unity professionals, the data was collected with presential interviews, respecting the social distance and other orientations from the sanitary authorities during the Covid-19 pandemics. The analysis was processed through the online platform, Marvel. • Resumen Espectáculo
  • User Embracement is one of the fundamental principles of the National Primary Care Policy, being essential for the qualification of health services, notably in Primary Health Care, and Qualified Listening is one of the instruments for organizing primary care services. Although there are specific public policies that recommend and encourage the practice of User Embracement in health environments, there are still difficulties or insufficiency in their implementation. The present study aimed to analyze, together with health professionals from a Basic Health Unit, which has Family Health Strategy teams in a municipality in the State of Alagoas, the strategy of implementing Qualified Listening, identifying the elements implementation enhancers and barriers to its use in the work process. Twenty-one health professionals from the 3 Family Health Teams that make up this Basic Health Unit participated in this research. It is, therefore, a qualitative study, carried out through an Action Research and used the workshop technique to produce information. The study observed that most health professionals at this Basic Health Unit are unaware of the Qualified Listening process, often confusing it with the concept of general welcoming, carried out during the reception of the user upon arrival at the Basic Health Unit, it was observed that the problem-solving capacity and satisfaction of both users and health professionals were one of the benefits that Qualified Listening could provide. The lack of professional qualifications and the professional's motivation were identified as hindering factors for its realization. It was concluded that the democratic participation of the entire team in the discussion of topics of common interest tends to improve the collective understanding of the subject discussed, stimulating its problematization, improving the interaction between professionals, thus facilitating the implementation of the desired change.
