SUMMARY:

The present study refers to qualitative research, focusing on the production of meanings in the health team involved in care practices for people with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis treatment. Chronic Renal Failure (CRF) has as its peculiarity the progressive and irreversible reduction in the functioning of the kidneys. It is characterized as a chronic disease that has hemodialysis as one of the treatment modalities. People undergoing hemodialysis treatment are regularly immersed in the treatment environment, since the therapy takes place three times a week, lasting approximately four hours each session. With this, the health team is called upon to offer continuous and permanent care throughout the course of treatment. The study aims to understand the production of meanings from the care practices of the health team in the hemodialysis treatment at the Urinary System Unit of the University Hospital Professor Alberto Antunes (HUPAA), located in Maceió, Alagoas. I will dialogue with the movement of social constructionism as a theoretical-methodological framework, based on Discursive Practices and Production of Meanings. To this end, a conversation will be held with the HUPAA health team involved in care practices for people with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis treatment: doctors, nurses, nursing technicians, nutritionist and social workers. The records will be written, the conversations recorded with consent for subsequent full transcription of the dialogues produced. For information analysis, in addition to productions related to the wheel, the field diary that will be produced throughout the research process will be used. Diary and wheel will present the dialogues for the construction of Dialogical Maps. The maps will allow the identification of the Linguistic Repertoires. The analysis of linguistic repertoires will make it possible to reflect on the production of meanings among the health team in relation to care practices for people undergoing hemodialysis treatment. With the study, it is expected to contribute to the expansion of spaces for dialogue, to enhance reflections on health care practices in the context of hemodialysis treatment and, thus, to produce new meanings in doing.
