INTRODUCTION: According to the Brazilian Society of Nephrology, it is estimated that the population with
Chronic Kidney Disease in the country surpasses the mark of 18 million individuals, with more than 150 thousand
need hemodialysis. Physical and emotional changes in these patients lead to the behavior
sedentary and, consequently, worse perception of quality of life, and increased levels of
sarcopenia and frailty. Studies have reported the impact of physical exercise on patients in
hemodialysis as positive outcomes for quality of life, but analyses on sarcopenia, fatigue
and frailty are little known. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the chronic effects of physical exercise
resistance in renal patients on sarcopenia, fatigue, frailty, and other parameters associated with
quality of life on dialysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: this is an approach study
