Such as Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH), Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and Dyslipidemia. Objective: To evaluate the presence of overweight and/or obesity and its clinical implications in elderly patients with CKD stages 3 and 4 under conservative treatment. Methodology: This is an observational and cross-sectional study, conducted in the Urinary System Unit of the University Hospital Professor Alberto Antunes (USU/HUPAA). The sampling method used was for convenience according to the visits performed during the research period. Individuals in stages 3 and 4 for CKD were included; eutrophic (group A) and overweight/obesity (group B) according to bmi classification for the elderly (ABESO, 2016). The collection of anthropometric, socio-economic and clinical data was collected from the research in electronic medical records and through the application of specific questionnaires. The project was approved by the research ethics committee under opinion 3,775,007. Results: Twenty-seven patients were included, with a mean age of 71.9 years; 18 patients (66.67%) males; origin, 18 patients (66.67%) from the capital and 09 patients (33.33%) reside in the interior of the state of Alagoas; 14 patients (51.85%) have incomplete Fundamental I, 06 patients (22.22%) have incomplete Fundamental II and 07 patients (25.93%) have completed high school; regarding family income, 02 patients (7.41%) reported that they receive less than 01 minimum wage, 21 patients (77.78 %) receive between 1 and 3 salaries and 04 patients (14.81%) receive above 3 minimum wages; comorbidities, 24 patients (88.89%) are hypertensive and 16 patients (59.26%) are diabetic. In addition, with regard to BMI, 06 patients (22.22%) are eutrophic, 13 patients (48.15%) overweight and 08 patients (29.63%) presented obesity; waist circumference (WC), 18 patients (66.67%) at high risk for cardiovascular disease; for GFR, 15 patients (55.55%) are in stages 3a and 3b, 09 patients (33.33%) are in stage 4 and 3 patients (11.11%) are in stage 5. Conclusion: This study, in relation to CKD, is composed mostly of male patients, of these presented the following comorbidities: Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH), Diabetes Mellitus (DM), overweight and obesity in various stages in relation to the classification of CKD
