SUMMARY:

Passion fruit (Passiflora spp.) is one of the main tropical fruits cultivated in Brazil, in addition to being the world's main producer of passion fruit. Anthracnose, caused by species of the genus Colletotrichum, is one of the main factors contributing to reduced production. Knowing the importance of this pathogen for culture and the great diversity of species of this fungal genus, it is essential to develop adequate techniques to control the disease. Therefore, the objectives of this study are to evaluate in vitro and in passion fruit seedlings the effects of fungicides Difenoconazole, Pyraclostrobin, Flutriafol and Azoxystrobin + Difenoconazole and Trichoderma harzianum on the mycelial growth Colletotrichum spp. For the fungicides, a mycelium plug (5 mm) of each Colletotrichum species was added to the synthetic Potato-Dextrose-Agar (PDA – Kasvi) culture medium supplemented with the established concentrations for each product. Plates were incubated for seven days at 25 ± 1°C in the dark. To verify the difference between treatments, the mycelial growth index (ICM) and the percentage of mycelial growth inhibition (PIC) were estimated. The ED50 will be calculated and the isolates will be classified into different sensitivity categories. To evaluate the effect of Trichoderma harzianum on Colletotrichum spp. Petri dishes containing culture medium for each species of pathogen and antagonist will be used, where a plug of mycelium will be placed on opposite sides. The plates will be kept in B.O.D incubators for seven days at 25 °C, with a photoperiod of 12 hours, after which the mycelial growth will be evaluated. The protective and curative effect of fungicides and Trichoderma will also be evaluated in passion fruit seedlings with the best concentrations obtained in in vitro tests. There was a reduction in the percentage and growth velocity index at the highest concentration tested for all fungicides.
