This thesis aims to understand the contributions of the Middle Level Course of the National Program for Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Modality of Youth and Adult Education - Initial and Continuing Education (Proeja-FIC), offered by the Federal Institute of Alagoas (Ifal) – Campus Satuba, provoked in the participating subjects after the training process, and is part of the studies being carried out by the Multidisciplinary Research Group in Youth and Adult Education (Multieja) about Professional Education for young and adult people, and in this sense, it problematizes: what contributions did the High School Integrated Course in the Youth and Adult Education Modality with Qualification in Computer Science, offered by Ifal, Campus Satuba, provoked in the subjects' lives, after the training process? To reach the objective, and "answer" the problem listed, we followed the theoretical-methodological presuppositions of the qualitative approach, using the interview in life history as the data collection technique. The sources were classified as documentary and oral, arising from searches carried out in local and official bodies, as well as from interviews with graduate-concluding subjects. The research findings showed that professional training did not bring direct contributions to the lives of young people and adults who graduated, however, the subjects witnessed a possible change in the personal and family spheres, and sometimes in their professional practice.
