SUMMARY:

The research will be carried out at the Federal Institute of Alagoas, on the Murici campus, and its target audience is philosophy teachers of basic education from the Integrated Technical High School. Observations made during the exercise of the profession indicate different degrees of demotivation of students in relation to their education, perspectives regarding their future, both in professional and social life, and the interests in the learning processes offered by the institution. Among the indicators of the problem are the high rate of evasion and failure, as well as progression. The objective is to analyze how the critical and reflective training of students of basic education at an integrated technical secondary level in a public school of the Federal Network of the State of Alagoas, has been provided by teachers, in order to contribute to the process of construction of intellectual and critical thinking of students. In the theoretical context, the following are appointed: BNCC, LDB, Paulo Freire, Marilena Chauí, Gelamo, Gallo. The research will take as a reference the teaching of philosophy, thinking about a human formation seeking to discuss critical thinking. Data analysis will start from the correlation between theory and pedagogical practice under the appreciation of IFAL's Pedagogical Political Projects, in addition to the specific planning of educators. The expected results are: diagnosis on the human development of students and on intellectual autonomy and critical-reflective thinking, starting from the teacher's view, intending their social and professional performance in the society in which these students work.
