SUMMARY:

In the first quarter of 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared that the outbreak of the disease (Covid-19) caused by the Novel Coronavirus constituted a public health emergency of international importance, characterized as a pandemic. Since then, on the recommendation of international bodies (WHO, 2020), national health surveillance (MS, 2020) and non-governmental organizations (ANF, 2020), several laws, decrees, resolutions, ordinances and provisional measures have been published at the Federal level. , State and Municipal (BRASIL, 2020) recommending social isolation measures. Thus, in line with these publications, several face-to-face activities in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) underwent significant changes in the routines previously developed. One of the points of influence in these changes occurred when the Ministry of Education (MEC), the National Education Council (CNE) and the State Education Councils (CEE) recommended the adoption of Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE). This time, successive discussions about the re/adaptation to the model of remote classes through the telework regime, using digital videoconferencing platforms, began, together with the representations of the teaching class and higher education institutions. Which, in turn, led to several complaints from entities and union associations of the teaching profession about the deepening of the precariousness of working conditions, with emphasis on the mental and physical illness of teachers in the process of (re)adaptation to the framework for Teaching. Emergency Remote and Telework Regime. Therefore, given the impacts and demands produced by the Sars-CoV-2 (Novo Coronavirus) pandemic on face-to-face higher education, this research seeks to answer the following question: What are the impacts and implications of adopting new practices from Emergency Remote Teaching during the pandemic? Sars-CoV-2 (Novel Coronavirus) in the health of higher education teachers, taking the teaching narrative as an element of analysis? Thus, this research has as its object of study to understand the perception of the impacts on the health of higher education professors at a public university in the city of Maceió-AL in the face of new routines. The study is based on the following methodological approaches: qualitative research of the Narrative Research (NP) type, from the perspective of Schütze (2010) combined with data collection procedures derived from the Grounded Theory of Data (GT), namely the technique of Intensive Qualitative Interview (CHARMAZ, 2009). The narratives captured from the interviews will be organized from the perspective of Bardin's Content Analysis (2016). Considering the research intentions, the approach adopted and the instruments chosen, we understand that this is a viable alternative for the purposes for which the study is intended.
