SUMMARY:

In the year 2020, countries across the world were hit by the SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) pandemic. In this context, the World Health Organization - WHO oriented the world population towards isolation as one of the measures to prevent and face the virus, in view of the high power of contagion. Due to this fact, the Governor of the State of Alagoas, through Decree nº 69.527, of March 17, 2020, suspends all educational activities in schools. The dissertation entitled Programa Alagoano de Ensino Integral: Impacts of education on teaching work in the context of the pandemic by covid-19 in a school in the state education network in Alagoa aimed to analyze the conditions of teaching work in a school in the state network of education participating in the Alagoas Integral Teaching Program, based on the identification of possible impacts caused in the daily work of teaching during the COVID - 19 pandemic. The research is characterized as a case study with a qualitative approach whose instruments used are based on observation, followed by of semi-structured/open type interviews and questionnaires carried out with the teachers of the researched school, followed by the content analysis having Historical Materialism as theoretical support.
