The general objective unfolds in the following specific objectives: i) to analyze the curricular component of Internship in Early Childhood Education in the pedagogical projects of the Pedagogy courses - face-to-face modality - of Brazilian public universities and, ii) to investigate the propositions, problems and potential of the proposals of internship from the point of view of Higher Education teachers who supervise these internships in Early Childhood Education. This is a qualitative research, carried out through a bibliographic survey, document analysis, application of questionnaires and interviews. The theoretical framework includes the productions of Ostetto (2019; 2012; 2008), Pimenta (2005/2006), Drumond (2018), Anjos (2012), Anjos; Miller (2014), Bardin (1977), among others. Understanding the ways in which Pedagogy courses have organized their internship proposals seems fundamental to us as the internship is configured as a privileged space for exchanges between subjects who live in these institutions - interns and their supervisors, children, their families and educators – and also for its potential as an articulating space for projects involving teaching, research and extension.
