CACURIING MUSICAL IDEAS WITH SMALL CHILDREN IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION CONTEXT

The present research, linked to the Graduate Program in Education (PPGE) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), aims to investigate the musical processes and ideas with young children in the context of early childhood education (ECE), from the Coco Alagoano’s musicalities and play. This is a research with children, based on the epistemological contributions of Corsaro's sociology of childhood (2011), Wallon's concept of play (2007), Gordon's music learning theory (2000), Brito’s musical education approach (2003) and cultural knowledge from authors such as: Santos (2019), Martins (2021) and Vilela (1980). To this end, it uses action research in the referential context of Spink (1979) and Haddad (2016) as a methodology. The research will be carried out in an ECE unit of the public ECE network of Maceió. It is intended to create an area of musical expression Coco Alagoano to search for musical ideas and promote investigative actions for data collection in the environment of early childhood education. From the data collected through the interactions and musical dialogues carried out in the meetings with children, it will be possible to proceed to the analysis of the musical processes and ideas generated from a cultural and musical experience. The initial considerations, based on the cultural manifestation of Coco Alagoano, in the context of early childhood education, demonstrate so far a dialogue with the literature and offer methodological potential for the elaboration of analysis instruments.
