SUMMARY:

In the context that can be seen in contemporary times, it requires a renewed educational activity in essence and practice, since society is rapidly changing, characterized by the popularization of scientific and technological information, the appeal to creative thinking, the ability to make decisions, and work in the context of diversity. However, paradoxically, in school, still guided by a mechanistic conception based on a conventional reductionist perspective, it fragments and disconnects man from himself and his needs. With the general objective of systematizing the principles of transdisciplinary teaching, and, in collaboration with the research subjects, to build a framework of ideas and practices that can contribute to the teaching activity in the perspective of ecosystem education, related to the teaching and learning of the person with intellectual disability. The study presents as specific objectives: to understand the proposals inherent to the complexity, and the concepts linked to the education of the person with intellectual disability; to develop theoretical-methodological approaches to teaching and learning from an ecosystem perspective. It is a qualitative research with the approach of collaborative research. The research subjects are the participants of the extension course on transdisciplinary inclusive education, offered in the modality in 2023 in the distance education modality offered by the Federal University of Alagoas/Campus A. C. Simões. The instruments for data collection will be: semi-structured virtual interviews, application of an online questionnaire; dialogue circle; documentary research related to research on teacher training and intellectual disability. Data analysis will be based on the analysis, with the help of specific software, of the interviews carried out considering the triangulation of data from the other collection instruments. To date, a literature review on complexity, transdisciplinarity and ecosystem education has been carried out; legal organization for the consolidation of the training course and admission/approval of the Research Ethics Council.
