THE PLACE OF PHILOSOPHY IN THE HUMAN SCIENCE CURRICULUM: a case study on the Curriculum Reference in the state of Alagoas.

This research seeks to investigate the meanings produced through the discourses relating to the place of Philosophy in the new Curricula Reference of Human and Social Sciences applied to High Schools in the state of Alagoas, in an attempt to try to understand the identity of this discipline in this new curricula model. In light of the new curricula configuration established by Law nº 13.415/2017, which regulates the New High Schools in Brazil, and the National Common Curricula Base, we will try to understand the place of this discipline in the curricula structure in Alagoas. Through a case study, we sought to analyze how the discourses of educational agents on the New Curricula Reference of Alagoas are established. The specific objectives of this work, in turn, are: to analyze the effects of meanings produced by the new Curricula Reference of Alagoas; analyze the speeches produced by educational agents about the new Curricula Reference of Alagoas; understand the identity of Philosophy in the new Curricula Reference of Alagoas; understand the interdisciplinary role of Philosophy in the new Curricula Reference of Alagoas. The problem of our research was the following: What is the place of Philosophy in the new Curricula Reference of Alagoas? We question that the teaching of Philosophy will be directed to the discourse of interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity, reducing or even excluding its contents in high schools. The methodological paths of our work are rooted in the qualitative research perspective, more precisely with the use of case studies. Using participant observation and semi-structured interviews as data collection instruments. Then, data analysis will be carried out through discourse analysis, which will serve as an analysis tool for the interviews to be carried out. With the aim of understanding the meanings discursively produced by the subjects participating in the elaboration of this document.
