SUMMARY:

This research seeks to analyze the fundamentals that support the Common National Curricular Base BNCC/2018, considering the historical, conceptual and political dimensions of the curriculum field. For this, we have listed as a guiding question: What fundamentals underlie the BNCC/2018, considering the historical, conceptual and political dimensions of the curriculum field? we highlight that the BNCC/2018, as a normative policy for Basic Education, is characterized as a prescribed, technical and imposing curriculum, promoting a setback in training subjects' schooling, through the homogenization of learning standards in teaching fundamental, which are described as skills and competences, realizing the capital requirements. The methodological route is outlined in the qualitative approach (YIN, 2016), with the documentary technique (CELLARD, 2012) and the Content Analysis method in Bardin's perspective (2016). We rely on theorists such as Apple (1982; 2001), Cury (2002; 2018), Saviani (2004; 2016), among others, to support the dimensions of the curriculum and reflect on the concepts that will emerge from this research.
