FORASTEIROS (AS)" DE OUTROS CANTOS: biographies of young migrant teachers who teach in public schools in the eastern and western regions of Alagoas.
Youth. Pedagogues. Internal migration. (Auto)biographical research
This research "Outsiders from other corners: biographies of young migrant teachers who teach in public schools in the East and Agreste regions of Alagoas, aims to analyze how young migrant teachers give meaning to the migration process and their youth experiences based on Biographical Research in Education or (auto)biographical research. From a theoretical and methodological point of view, this is a qualitative study in dialogue with (auto)biographical research with young pedagogues in migration. For this, I bring as a basis Delory-Momberger ( 2012; 2016; 2019; 2021); SOUZA (2018, 2009); the main references of decolonial studies from the contributions of Quijano (2005), Mignolo (2008, 2017), Souza Santos (2007), among other theorists who discuss everyday studies as Certeau (2005), Ferraço, Nilda Alves (2001), Chizzotti (1992). Regarding youth, the theoretical basis is based on researchers such as Weisheimer (2015), Pais (1993), Peralva (1997), Abramo (1997), Dayrell (2003, 2007), among others. Migratory studies have been highlighted in demographic and population research, but are still scarcely discussed in the educational area, but specifically when related to the category youth and allied to a biographical perspective. These migratory phenomena are complex and heterogeneous, as they do not occur in a linear fashion, making it crucial to understand them from their uniqueness (SANTOS, 2016). It is in this sense that the research aims to understand the way in which migrant teachers see the city, the spaces, how they (re)mean and give meaning to their juvenile and migratory experiences in a relationship between the individual and the social. The study also intends to contribute to the development of proposals and alternatives for reflection on issues pertinent to the Municipal Secretariats of Education in both municipalities, such as, for example, policies not only of access, but of assistance to public servants who migrate to work in education and in the growth of the municipalities
