The Production of Knowledge on Physical Education in the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology in Brazil (2005-2022): realities, mediations, contradictions and possibilities for human development.

This study aimed to investigate the Production of Knowledge on Physical Education in the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology in Brazil (2005-2022). The objective was to identify and analyze the reality, mediations, contradictions and possibilities for omnilateral human formation, placed in the categories pedagogical theory, curriculum, conception of Physical Education, contents, objectives, method, and evaluation, expressed in the production of knowledge (theses and dissertations) on the teaching of Physical Education in the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, in view of the reality of the new high school. The whole investigation was guided by the following problem: What is the reality, mediations, contradictions and possibilities for omnilateral human formation, placed in the categories pedagogical theory, curriculum, conception of Physical Education, contents, objectives, method, and evaluation, expressed in the production of the knowledge (theses and dissertations) about teaching Physical Education in the Federal Institutes of Education, Science and Technology, facing the reality of the new high school? As a research method, we resort to historical-dialectical materialism, among the procedures, we carry out a bibliographical review; survey and epistemological analysis of theses and dissertations.
