SUMMARY:

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of preceptors and residents of the Pedagogy/Literacy subproject linked to the Pedagogical Residency Program (PRP) of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), 2020-2022 edition, in relation to literacy practices and the uses of digital technologies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The theoretical foundation of this research is based on studies by Soares (1985, 2001, 2003, 2004a, 2004b), Marinho (2010), Souza, Meniconi and Gomes (2022), Colello (2021), Gatti and Barreto (2009) , Coscarelli (2016) and Ribeiro (2021), among others. This is a qualitative research (YIN, 2016), which is part of the Education area in the interface with Applied Linguistics, for which the following data collection instruments are used: questionnaires, document analysis and interviews. The partial results show that the singularities of remote teaching impacted the literacy practices developed within the Pedagogical Residence (RP) and suggest that these also directly influenced the internship activities developed in the schools of the municipal teaching network of Maceió and may have an impact on the reconfigurations of the theoretical conceptions of the participants about literacy and the initial learning of the written language. At the end of the study, it is expected that the research results can contribute to the debate about public policies for teacher training and literacy in force in the country, especially considering the reality of public schools that often do not have access to artifacts. digital technologies or lack training aimed at education professionals with a view to expanding digital literacy.
