PHILOSOPHICAL HERMENEUTICS: TOWARDS A PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY IN HIGH SCHOOL
Hermeneutics. Education. Philosophy. Public school
This doctoral thesis project, belonging to the Postgraduate Program in Education at the University of Alagoas – UFAL, has as its central objective to introduce the use of Hans-Georg Gadamer's philosophical Hermeneutics in philosophy classes in secondary education in public schools, developing philosophical praxis together with previously established programmatic contents, transforming the discipline into a practical philosophy. On a second level, this research aims to analyze the neoliberal foundations that motivated the change of the LDB - Law 9394/96 and the BNCC by Law 13,415/2017, which established the New Secondary Education. The methodological procedures of the research include a review of studies of historical changes that occurred in basic education analyzed by Saviani (2007; 2011; 2012; 2013; 2016; 2018), Gadotti (2004) and other relevant thinkers who contribute to a critical analysis of public education Brazilian. The research also uses a qualitative approach methodology, using a data collection instrument through a questionnaire developed on the Google forms platform, applied with teachers at Escola Estadual Moreira e Silva, to measure the level of development of students. despite the need for hermeneutic practice in the classroom. Content analysis (BARDAN, 2016) will be the technique used to process the data collected in the field research. In the end, we hope that the result of the research will serve for a critical review of Law 13,415/2017, and the BNCC, as well as a better structuring of philosophy classes in secondary education in public schools.
