SUMMARY: 
This thesis is a quantitative-qualitative research, which seeks to understand and analyze the textbooks approved in the PNLD/2019, referring to the water content, intended for the Natural Sciences discipline in the 5th year of elementary school, focused on the thought of Gaston Bachelard. The main objective of our work is to analyze how Natural Sciences textbooks for the Early Years help subjects to overcome Epistemological Obstacles based on Bacherlad's epistemology.
