SUMMARY:

Chronic non-transmissible diseases - CNCDs constitute a challenge for health management, requiring synergistic efforts to build strategic planning, thus intersectoriality is presented as an instrument for articulation aimed at planning and implementing policies, programs and projects, creating a dynamic that enables the strengthening of public policies. Seeking to draw up strategies directed by intersectoriality, the municipality of Delmiro Gouveia/AL sought a partnership with the Federal University of Alagoas – UFAL to cope with CNCDs in the municipality. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of intersectoriality in the municipality of Delmiro Gouveia and analyze the planning of intersectoral actions in the light of the complexity paradigm. This is a qualitative study with an analytical-descriptive approach. The production of information took place from August to October 2021 using the conversation wheel technique - RC. 1st Situational Diagnosis CR; 2nd Situational Strategic Planning and 3rd Discussion for the construction of intersectoral projects. For analysis and interpretation of the findings, the thematic analysis method was used. After analyzing the 3 RCs with 19 participants in total, it was possible to identify 19 cores of meaning, which, from the application of the proposed theoretical framework, gave rise to 2 thematic categories, entitled: The biologicist model versus intersectoriality and Fragmentation of attention to health versus prospects for implementing intersectoriality. The first category discusses the predominance of the biologicist model and the management's difficulty in conducting intersectoral actions in the municipality. The second category seeks to list the sensitive points of the health care network and point out perspectives for intersectoral planning.
