SUMMARY:

Maceió has its soil excavated by capillaries of countless lagoons and rivers, which causes the formation of caves, deep valleys that penetrate the high parts of the plateau and that sometimes appropriation is the formation of favelas, also indicating the place of a large part of the poverty in the capital of Alagoas. In this context, the dissertation investigates communities inserted in the Vale do Reginaldo in Maceió, to seek to understand about these ways of life that are find stuffy in different ways in the city, promoting the placement of the method sensorial-experimental as a possibility to displace the established conceptions and evidence their ways of acting. As you approach the Valley, you can see conformations that disturb their territories, allowing borders to become thresholds, passages and detours, promoting understandings of the material and temporal dimension that occur in the Vale do Reginaldo and pour into the urban fabric of the city. In this process, it was possible to discover the sound that exists in that space not only as another perceptual channel but as a form to construct the places materially, because the cunning triggered by mechanisms of survival gains power in observing the movement of the less fortunate including the urban network in search of income, and evidences sound as a possibility to unveil strategies that demonstrate their maneuvers in a subtle way. In seeking to reach the body of grotes inside and outside its boundaries, the strong tangent between the body is understood and the territory and it is concluded that paying attention to the devices used for the survival of considered marginal, indicate a possible reflection path to deconstruct the form with which one usually perceives and studies the urban dimension, softening the borders that sustain their drownings, and strengthening the idea of an urban, which is essentially malleable, undisciplined, powerful and moving.
