SUMMARY:

Domestic work in Brazil is permeated by the oppressions of gender, race and class and this is explained by our history, because in the colonial period we have in our country an imposition of European ideals based on domination male and class, in addition to the introduction of the slave system. Federici explains that for centuries the woman European society was socially degraded and had its independence abolished, becoming only the person responsible for the care of family and home. This happened in the same period when capitalism was established and work domestic became a valueless activity for the market, however it was this same work that boosted the consolidation of capitalism. With colonization, Europe managed to accumulate much more capital at the same time. time that exported these ideas of oppression to the colonies, that's why Brazil was formed by the oppression of class and gender added to the racial oppression structured in our country in the long years of slavery. That is explained by Bernadino-Costa who points out how this social organization remains practically intact in Brazil after the abolition of slavery. In addition, black writers such as Ribeiro, Carneiro, Nascimento and Gonzalez show how the experience of black women in the slavery past remains similar even today, occupying the same jobs as in the past, as is the case of domestic employment that is still carried out by women, mostly black and brown. Coutinho, Marcondes and Ávila and Ferreira explain that women are still the most responsible for domestic work, but throughout the 20th century white women managed to get into universities, accessed better jobs and managed to reduce inequality between them and white men, unlike black women, moreover, white women only conquered this emancipation because they had the possibility of outsourcing domestic work to black women. even this work being essential for the maintenance of capitalism and for the emancipation of white women. profession remained for many years without formal regularization, achieving this only in 2013 with the PEC of Domestic, however even with this achievement most workers remain informal, receiving low wages and suffering abuse, because of this situation this research proposes to work with these women. The aim of this study is to identify the violence and resistance they face in the profession and in the urban space and understand the profile of this woman in the city of Aracaju. To define the study's territorial outline some peculiarities of the formation of the Aracajuan space were considered and defined that the working place would be the Urban Expansion Zone due to the presence of numerous high-end horizontal condominiums in a region away from the denser area of the city, evidencing urban segregation in the capital Sergipana. For achieving the objective the methodological process was divided into two directions, the first was the collection of data from women registered at Casa da Doméstica in Aracaju to develop maps showing where these women come from professionals who work in the capital and the second stage is to approach the domestics to understand their experiences at work and commuting between their homes in the city to work in the Expansion Zone. So we can understand the socio-spatial dimension of paid domestic work in Aracaju and also in the state of Sergipe, in addition to having contact with the experiences and feelings of the workers themselves. approaching the difficulties faced by them inside and outside the home.
