If one day we closed our eyes and when we opened them we saw the disappearance of our home? If we had to witness its sudden dismantling, its ruin? What would be our reaction and feelings? Where would we go? What would we do with all our memories? This dissertation is built from an environmental crime that led thousands of families to leave their homes, which occurred in the city of Maceió, state of Alagoas, in 2018, from the subsidence of a residential area, whose underground was being used by the construction industry. exploration of Braskem rock salt. The work unfolds through fragments, pieces of history and memory, gathered from residents' testimonies, in which I seek to explore aspects of this home space - placing myself as a researcher and living of this whole process that was reassembled from a walk in field, from the search for the stories behind the remains. I walk through the bruised and torn Pinheiro neighborhood, but I find in its details marks of what once was.
