SUMMARY:

The starting point of this dissertation work was a concern
about the place that is my starting point in this world. A restlessness
that reverberated and reverberates from the relationship and the different forms in
different periods of time, to assimilate the importance and characteristics
from him. The place, or rather, my place, is the city of Mombasa, where I was born and
I grew up.
According to Silva (2020), the place is a space that has been experienced,
endowed with meaning and meaning through experiences and interactions
human. In this context, a place goes beyond its physical and
geographical, incorporating the emotions, memories and personal bonds that
people develop with it over time.
