SUMMARY:

Undoubtedly, verbal language presents itself as a science that has followed different paths in the search for theoretical and methodological reflections on the most varied domains, such as lexicon, text, discourse, semantics and pragmatics, among others. Starting from this perspective, this thesis work aims to strengthen the theoretical-investigative universe of linguistics under the need to explore real language contexts to analyze the structure and functioning of human communication. The research is focused on the field of Textual Genetics (GT) under a linguistic-enunciative approach and aims first to observe the relationship between oral utterances of Portuguese students in the 4th year of primary school and the learning of written language, based on metalinguistic activity of a grammatical nature. , developed by students when they are writing collaboratively. Studies along the lines of GT ( Fabre , 1986, 1990, 2022; Biasi, 2010, Boré , 2000) open our horizons to the field of the creative genesis of the school manuscript, observed in the light of Enunciative Linguistics (Benveniste, 1994), which favors the reflection on language as an interaction process. The theoretical path brings together studies and research that dialogue with our object of investigation, from the more general context of metalinguistic activity ( Camps, 2000, 2014; Camps et al. 1999, 2001, 2005; Calil, 1998, 2008) to more close to what we discussed about the relationship between teaching grammar and written composition ( Camps , 1999; Myhiil , 2018, Calil and Myhill 2020). The methodological path undertaken to analyze metalinguistic activity related to grammar, verified in six school manuscripts produced by the Ant and Afo dyad , maps the occurrence of oral (RO) and quantifies textual objects of different natures, in order to enhance qualitative analysis, which, in turn, aims to understand and reflect on erasures specifically related to grammar. The analysis corpus belongs to the database of the School Manuscript Laboratory (LAME), at the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), collected through “ Interwriting –Aveiro”, in 2017, and comprises 6 writing processes in action. We followed a methodology for studying the manuscript in progress, following the didactic procedure of the Ramos System (SR) (Calil, 2020), which allows the researcher to have a filmic record of the synchronized composition process and the monitoring of the spontaneous dialogue made by the children, with access to the ecological context of the classroom, the multimodal gestures of the students, as well as the dialogue, in its oral dimension, produced by them, and the movement of writing in action throughout the entire process. We discuss the analyzed data, basing our reflections on the theoretical support presented and based on the understanding of the context of grammar teaching in Portugal, which highlights the teacher-student and student-student relationship in a writing situation. The systematization of grammar teaching and learning in official Portuguese documents, as well as in the textbooks and activity notebooks used by the Ant and Afo dyad are essential for understanding the data and supporting the conclusions we present.
