SUMMARY:

This work aims to institute the proposal of a new typology of the linguistic borrowing of Libras that occurred between sign languages and oral languages in contact from the study of typology of linguistic borrowing by Sapir (1921), Bloomfield (1973), Carvalho (2009), Faria-Nascimento (2009) and Ferreira (2010). In order to transform a new typology of Libras' language  borrowing, it was necessary to fit the examples taken from the Libras Corpus of the Deaf Reference, seeking to understand the influence of these loans (only lexical) in the linguistic studies of Libras. In Brazil, with regard to studies on language  borrowing in Libras, research is still scarce. In Machado (2016), I investigated the inputs from foreign sign language lexicons in the Libras lexicon. In this study, I also intend to observe the influence of oral languages, having as theoretical basis the studies of Languages in Contact. As a research methodology, a validation (comparison) of the signs found in the videos was made with the websites of online dictionaries of other sign languages, in addition to interviews with signs of the examples taken and foreign signs. The methodology of this study will follow a process until the analysis / transcription using the ELAN software, in order to identify characteristics in the formation / incorporation process, seeking to find a new typology of language  borrowing in Libras.
