Grammatical description of Libras: use of interjections
Grammatical description; Libras; Interjections in Libras.
Interjections in oral languages are words used to express emotions and feelings and the same phenomenon occurs with sign languages, but studies in the area are scarce. The purpose of our thesis is to describe the use of interjections in the Brazilian Sign Language. Our corpus will consist of clippings of videos in Libras from communicative situations of educational and journalistic programs on TV INES, a channel available entirely in Libras. The research falls within the field of studies of descriptive grammar according to the studies of Perrini (2007) and Castilho (2010), on interjection with the works of Ameka (1992), Mamushkina (2010), Caixeta (2015) and Teixeira ( 2019), and Libras with research by Felipe (1989), Quadros and Karnopp (2004) and Ferreira Brito (2010).
