THE DISCURSE ABOUT XUKURU-KARIRI: EXPRESSIONS OF THE POLITICIAN IN THE HISTORY OF PALMEIRA DOS ÍNDIOS

ABSTRACT
Native people in Brazil are affected by several discursive events, since the invasion, such events would be responsible for angering native nations to the present day. The discourse on the Xukuru-Kariri native has always been crossed by the politician, since 1790, with the approach of the church and the construction of the city, in the native territory, it is amplified. The research is responsible for presenting such discourses that affect the native people, their territory and historical events. We take as a starting point the legend of the foundation of the city of Palmeira dos Índios and the anthem of the municipality since both texts are authored by Luiz Barros Torres and that historically mark the ideological relationship and the interest of the municipality's elites. a small territory destined for the subsistence of 10 villages of the Xukuru-Kariri people, it is believed to be responsible for the attempt to dominate the native people, who resist various forms of intervention in the historical course.
