POLICY OF SILENCE AND CENSORSHIP GESTURES: THE DISCOURSE ON ARTISTIC-CULTURAL PRODUCTION IN CONTEMPORARY BRAZIL
Discourse. Art. Censorship. Capitalism.
The research that we are now developing for the doctorate, tentatively entitled Politics of silence and censorship gestures: the discourse on artistic-cultural production in contemporary Brazil., seeks to analyze how the process of discursivization works on art and cultural production in contemporary Brazil , in an attempt to understand the general determinations that engender discursive processes of censorship and control of the senses related to the artistic-cultural field in the country, taking into account the conflicts and social antagonisms that are at the base of capitalist society in its current crisis of a structural nature. This work proposal is supported by the theoretical-methodological assumptions of Discourse Analysis developed by Michel Pêcheux in dialogue with an ontological-materialist approach, based on the contribution of the works of Marx (2013), Lukács (2018), Mészáros (2002; 2008 ), among others.
