SUMMARY:

This work presented to the qualifying panel is composed of the following sections: presentation; an article (under construction), derived from the research (in progress); and three related educational products. At the end, appendices and attachments are made available. In the presentation, personal motivations are described, as well as a brief background about the ongoing research. The article is entitled "Workshops as a teaching strategy for the Kangaroo Method in a university extension project" and its general objective is to know how workshops can contribute to the teaching of the Kangaroo Method, based on the discourse of the students of the university extension project in a public teaching hospital. The educational products were developed for the development of the workshops, they are: “Technical Manual for carrying out Kangaroo Method Workshops”; “Video: Knowing a Neonatal Unit!”; and “Game: Kangaroo Method QUIZ”.
