SUMMARY:

This research analyzes the process of implementing the public policy of quotas of the Federal Law 12.711/2012, regulated by Decree nº 7.824/2012, in the Campus do Sertão of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL), installed in the cities of Delmiro Gouveia and Santana do Ipanema. It will be part of this construction, from a public policy perspective, to explore the processes of quota agenda formation and policy formulation. Methodologically, we rely on a bibliography from the field of public policies and sociology, using data to analyze the process of implementing the public policy of quotas of Federal Law nº 12.711/2012 in the Campus do Sertão of the Federal University of Alagoas in contrasts of scenarios of ex-ante type, evaluating the scenario of the years before the quota policy (before 2012) and ex-post, evaluating the scenario of the years after the quota policy, in the period between 2012 and 2022.
