VOICE, IDENTITY AND POWER: SERTANEJAS DE NEGÓCIOS, DELMIRO GOUVEIA, ALAGOAS, 1968-2022.

By studying the history of businesswomen and the vast field of inter-relationships connected to them in Delmiro Gouveia - Alagoas, between 1968 and 2022, we approach the limits, possibilities and challenges of female entrepreneurship in the Alto Sertão of the São Francisco River. A field crossed by gaps, gaps and deserts that justify the importance of the present research. Based on this perspective, six interviews were conducted with businesswomen from different economic activities in Delmiro Gouveia - floor and wall coverings, trimmings, food, parties and decorations, among others. The confluence between oral sources, notes in the field notebook, statistical data available in institutional sites and the bibliography available on this theme make it possible to get to know an approach about these sertaneiras. To this end, the research seeks a dialogue in the light of Social History, History of the Present Time (HTP) and the field of study of memories. Furthermore, the analysis of this context observes social practices, memories, power relations, identity and ambivalences related to the businesswomen involved in the research.
