SERTANEJAS DE NEGÓCIOS, DELMIRO GOUVEIA, ALAGOAS, 1968-2022.

Through a study of the history of businesswomen in Delmiro Gouveia - Alagoas, from 1968 to 2022, we gain insight into the challenges, possibilities, and limitations of female entrepreneurship in the Alto Sertão of the São Francisco River. This field is marked by gaps, hiatuses, and deserts, which highlight the importance of this research. The study conducted six interviews using oral history methodology, with women entrepreneurs from various economic activities in Delmiro Gouveia - including flooring and wall coverings, trim, food, parties, and decorations - and a seventh interview with the president of the CDL. The research draws on oral sources, field notes, statistical data available on institutional websites, and relevant literature to explore a field approach to these businesswomen. The study seeks to engage in a dialogue through the lens of Social History, History of the Present Time (HTP), and the study of memories. Additionally, the analysis of this context examines social practices, memories, power relations, identity, and ambivalences related to the businesswomen involved in the research.
