Ethnomathematics and Geometry in Textile Arts: Analysis through Didactic Engineering

This work aims to develop the concepts of areas of plane figures Through a Didactic
Sequence guided by the methodology of Didactic Engineering, bringing to light a study
between plane geometry seen in the basic education classroom, with geometry in
production artesanal, such as fillet. Furthermore, a theoretical survey will be carried
out on Ethnomathematics with the aim of justitying artesanal production as a Branch
of Ethnomathematics.
