Mathematics Teaching, Didactic Sequence, OBMEP, Pólya Method.
In this dissertation we will present an approach to elementary topics of number theory from the perspective of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC) and guided by the Problem Solving Methodology, emphasizing the Pólya Method. For this, a bibliographical study was carried out both on the construction of the BNCC and other official documents and on the development of the methodology for solving problems, at the same time that we raised aspects that link research to real impacts on teacher training, on the integral development of students and in the appropriate approach in the classroom, mainly with regard to the conceptualization of contents and the resolution of Olympic problems, in parallel we reflected on how to work in a practical way the Olympic topics of number theory through a didactic sequence.
