SUMMARY:

The study of a fingerprint is considered one of the identification methods most reliable human resources, the development of a latent fingerprint is extremely importance, because in forensic science it can be considered a physical evidence presente at a crime scene. The revelation techniques most used today are the technique of powder, iodine vaporization, the use of ninhydrin and others, but these methods have some limitations such as a recent sample collection and the toxicity of these reagents. Taking into account the work already carried out by the research group of the Laboratory of Electrochemistry, Polymers and Forensic Sciences (LEPFor) of the UFAL, this work seeks to add to the knowledge of the group a study on the electrodeposition of conductive polymers doped with organic dyes to reveal latent fingerprints. The use of organic dyes for this purpose is new in literature, so there are many questions to be clarified.
