Introduction: The rapid growth of mobile technologies and the acceptance by consumers worldwide, show opportunities and solutions that try to solve problems related to the health system. The use of technology to monitor, promote care and increase adherence to health treatments is a reality that aims at greater integration between professionals and the patient. Objective: To develop a smartphone application, with conceptual aspects of content validation for the optimization of therapeutic adherence in patients with hypertension. Methods: A study will be carried out in four distinct phases.1) integrative literature review; 2) selection of specialists in therapeutic adherence; 3) elaboration of the content evaluation and validation instrument through the DELPHI technique; 4) analysis of data from the assessment instrument ; Ethical aspects: This study will obey the rules described in resolution 466/2012 of the National Health Council.
