ANALYSIS OF A SEXUALLY INFECTED JOB
TRANSMITTABLES - IST`S, HAVING THE DIDACTIC SEQUENCE - SD AS
FACILITATING PEDAGOGICAL INSTRUMENT IN THE ACQUISITION OF
KNOWLEDGE OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, ACCORDING TO THE
LEARNING STYLES BY DAVID KOLB.
Sexually Transmitted Infections - Didactic Sequence - Inventory
of Kolb.
Currently, sexuality in adolescence has been the subject of several studies, due to the
vulnerability linked to this group. An example is the issue of Sexually Illnesses
Communicable – IST`S, which are one of the most frequent pathologies in Brazil and in the world,
young people being the most affected. Thus, based on scientific knowledge, the school has
a preponderant role in the debate on these issues for the training and awareness of these
young. In this, teaching practice needs to diversify methodological strategies, such as
Didactic Sequence – SD. This consists of a set of activities, strategies and
interventions planned by the teacher so that the understanding of the proposed content is
achieved by the students. And as each individual learns in a specific way, the acquisition of
knowledge of each student in SD will be related to David's learning styles.
Kolb. The present quali-quanti research aims to evaluate the application of DS
as a pedagogical tool in promoting knowledge about the IST`s of students from
High School, considering the Kolb Learning Style Inventory. The sample will be
composed of, on average, 120 public school students, in 4 classes of 1st Year of Education
Average. In two classes, the IST's will be worked through a SD and, in the others, by
through expository classes. Data will be collected from the application of the Inventory of
Kolb, from a quiz with an open question and a test with 10 multiple questions
choice. Data will be analyzed and tabulated in digital spreadsheets, with application of
Descriptive statistics.
