SUMMARY:

The neuroendocrine system is one of the contents of biology that aims to study the mechanisms of regulation of bodily functions such as: growth, development, sex life and internal body balance, promoting the perfect relationship that the individual has with the environment in all the stages of your life. However, the subjective way of transmitting knowledge through expository and little diversified classes, the scientific language and the lack of contextualization with the student's daily life makes their learning not very interesting - for high school students - in addition to being a challenge pedagogical. Since the 1990s, with the implementation of the National Curricular Parameters (PCNs), there has been talking about the importance of autonomy and youth protagonism in solving problems and, with the new National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), this protagonism is even more encouraged seeking to scientifically literate the individual information. The present study aims to develop and analyze a didactic sequence in the approach of teaching by investigation involving students of Colégio Estadual Francisco da Conceição Menezes/Ba in the study of the neuroendocrine system. The investigative didactic sequence (SDI) will be built in four stages: 1) exploration of the concept; it will be the first moment in contact with the theme, being presented with guiding questions; 2) investigation of the concept students will be invited to explore themes about adolescence and maternity/paternity in the school environment; obesity and diabetes in the school community and the use of anabolic steroids among adolescents in the school community.;3) problem-solving, students should share their findings with the class relating them to the initial guiding question and 4) evaluation and dissemination of results; in groups, students will be guided to create podcasts, short videos, and blogs. Playful resources such as games and games will be used, as technological resources such as computers, cell phones and interviews with people from the school community. Questionnaires will be applied to the students: one that aims to collect the initial ideas about the theme and another that will collect the final perceptions about the application of the SDI (Investigative Didactic Sequence). Throughout the SDI application process, the pedagogical actions will be qualitatively evaluated. At the end of this project, it is expected to obtain an SDI published in e-book format that mobilizes teaching and learning practices in the context of Biology classes.
