INVESTIGATIVE ACTIONS RELATED TO THE CARDIOVASCULAR SYSTEM
Cardiovascular System, Investigative Actions, Teaching
The teaching of Human Anatomy and Physiology is traditionally carried out with expository classes, with the presentation of schemes and there is, generally, the presentation of aspects related to the systems of the human body, the main organs that compose it and the action of each one of them, as well as its importance. The purpose of this study is to present a didactic proposal for investigative actions related to the Cardiovascular System. This system is associated with human behavior such as the use of licit and illicit drugs, sedentary lifestyle, diet and stress. In the development of the proposal, students will be protagonists of the teaching and learning process and must construct a diagnostic survey to be answered by the school community, accompanied by an activity to compare heart rate and blood pressure in different contexts in student volunteers and students' families from other classes. For this, they will use digital tools for analysis and data collection apart from routine medical examinations, such as Google Forms, Google spreadsheets, etc. Students will develop hypotheses relating cardiovascular health to smoking, and physical inactivity, among others, in comparison with the results obtained. This study should mobilize students in relation to individual and collective health, in addition to awakening to investigative actions that will significantly collaborate in the teaching-learning process.
