SUMMARY:

Thinking about an accessible and easy-to-understand teaching is one of the tasks of the teacher who teaches chemistry in high school. A good artifice is the inclusion of playful activities that can work as a facilitator in the teaching-learning process, especially thinking about a classroom that unites
deaf and hearing students. In this context, harnessing new forms of existing technologies can be a practical way to encourage the interaction of all students and seek to overcome the lack of interest. Many times the cause of failure in the course of most of the disciplines has been the lack of inclusive teaching material, of quality and easily accessible to students and teachers, in addition, of course, to teaching methods that call the student's attention to learning. The teaching model adopted by schools does not favor difficulties and
specificity found by those who have some hearing impairment (FERREIRA; NASCIMENTO, 2014). Institutions already allocate the presence of a professional in the classroom to facilitate the student-teacher relationship, however when one thinks of a class guided only by the use of the mother tongue, “the
context of the inclusive classroom still mainly prioritizes the Portuguese language, and, to guarantee the deaf subject the right of access to knowledge, the presence of a LIBRAS interpreter is necessary [...]” (MENDONÇA, OLIVEIRA and BENITE, 2017, p. 347). Even the presence of TILS is not a determining factor for success in the development of knowledge, taking into account that the entire previous training process also has repercussions on the new school scenario. Chemistry has specific chemical knowledge with concepts and nomenclatures, this already makes its study challenging, when we think of those who are deaf this challenge is increased by the lack of specific signs to the discipline and when they exist, they are not always known by the interpreter who accompanies the class, besides, of course, the lack of knowledge in the mother tongue. Using facilitating methods is an approach that can favor learning, protagonism and interaction in the classroom, games can work as an alternative to a playful, interesting and fun class, and favor interaction by all participants.
