SUMMARY:

Innovation, technological development, and entrepreneurship are central themes of many debates when it comes to the economic and social development of a country. The debates become more heated when the indispensable importance of systemic interaction amonguniversities, government, and industry is mentioned, so that there is sustainable and effective knowledge transfer and development among these actors. The objective of this work is to propose the elaboration of a portfolio as a strategic instrument of technology transfer between the Institute of Physical Education and Sports of the Federal University of Alagoas and companies of a public or private nature, based on the Triple Helix model. The methodology used was exploratory, of a qualitative nature, with a case study. The research universe is the Institute of Physical Education and Sports at the Federal University of Alagoas. The data collection initially occurred with a bibliographic survey in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, with the use of strings and on-site observation. In addition, document review research was carried out in order to recognize elements about the theme, identify and classify those that were in coherence with the objectives of this study. As a result, it was verified that IEFE has capacity and infrastructure with international certification standards, where it can be used as a research area in its studies and partnerships. The extension projects, the partnerships with the private initiative, as well as the technology transfer process among the triple helix players were evidenced. It was also proposed the creation of a portfolio for the disclosure of IEFE's tangible and intangible assets, with the objective of narrowing the interaction between university and private initiative.
