STRUCTURING AN INNOVATION ECOSYSTEM IN ALAGOAS BASED ON A DIGITAL PLATFORM:
CHALLENGES AND POTENTIALS
Innovation Ecosystems; Multifaceted Platform (MSP); Software Ecosystems (ECOS); Ecosystem Platforms; Industrial property.
The growth of digital transformation and the need for actors in an innovation ecosystem to connect in a
coordinated way, then the use of platform-based digital tools has emerged as an alternative to promote
interrelationships, collaboration and technological marketing. However, in the literature there is little
practical and methodological information for the construction of this type of tool. This work presents an
exploratory study of digital platforms of innovative ecosystems where it was found, from an evaluation
methodology of ECOS and MSPs, that the existing platforms had gaps in terms of their practical result for
the development of ecosystems based on the analysis of 12 technical factors. From this, the gaps were
listed to subsidize the creation of a platform model with 33 requirements. The study also demonstrated the
creation and implementation of a digital platform model in the form of an MVP prototype and the mapping
of the first innovative cluster ever identified in the actors platform in Alagoas, the ICT cluster. In the end,
the risks and difficulties identified during the development were presented, especially in relation to the
governance between actors to conduct the project and the long time for development, thus concluding that
in order to succeed in a platform of this nature, it is necessary to establish relationships with business level
coordinated between actors, so that the platform remains self-manageable.
