SUMMARY:

The conception of the Unified Health System (SUS) and the search for the application of its principles have caused changes in health practices, promoting changes in the process of training and development of professionals in the area. The Supervised Curricular Internship (ECS) has been appointed as a strategy adopted to strengthen the articulation between Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and the service. The present work entitled "The Supervised Internship from the Perspective of Health Professionals in a Family Health Strategy Unit" seeks to analyze the perception of health professionals in relation to Supervised Curricular Internships that occur in a Family Health Strategy Unit of the municipality of Maceió-AL, in the areas of Nursing, Medicine and Dentistry in order to improve the actions developed, within the local governance. The collected data will be treated in the light of Content Analysis, as indicated in Bardin (2011), especially with regard to the method of thematic analysis. As for the data collection instrument, a semi-structured interview script will be used – which allows access to the participants' free speech.
