SUMMARY:

The National Policy for the Humanization of Care and Management (PNH/Humaniza SUS) aims to propose the reorganization of health services and the adoption of a health care model focused on practices that have potential for transformation. The PNH uses devices to strengthen the health care network, the bonds and co-responsibility between users, workers and managers, proposing an action that leads to the expansion of the guarantee of rights and citizenship of people, the improvement of work in team and valuing the human being. As it is a health policy, humanization must be placed in the context of evaluations, regarding its implementation within the service, allowing an institutional diagnosis and a closer approximation to reality, and thus providing elements for the planning and improvement of health care practices. health. This study aims to measure the degree of humanization of the Basic Health Units (UBSs) in the municipality of Joaquim Gomes - Alagoas. To this end, a quantitative, descriptive and field survey will be carried out, using validated questionnaires that will be applied to workers, managers and users of the UBSs. With the results, it is expected, in addition to the classification of the degree of humanization in the Primary Care service of the municipality, to generate, in the actors involved in the care, reflections on the practices that are being developed, highlighting the advances and the existing gaps, to, then, supported by the guidelines of the PNH, make use of strategies so that there is the presence of a more humanized care and management in such units, raising the quality of the services offered and the quality of life of all the actors involved.
