HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEMS: A STUDY OF THE PROCESSES OF REGISTRATION, INTEGRATION AND RECOVERY OF INFORMATION IN THE SISAB AND ESUS-AB BASES

Introduction: Information occupies an important place in both public and private organizations. Public health organizations have developed, seeking ways to innovate and improve their services to meet the needs of contemporary society. Among information and communication technologies, health information systems can help professionals to manage large amounts of information every day. Therefore, it is essential that the large volume of information generated is managed efficiently and intelligently, while there is a pressing need to make employees aware of the importance of information management in the organizational environment, in order to promote and improve the use of information in the actions of the Unified Health System (SUS). Objective: Study the process of registration, integration and retrieval of information in e-SUS AB and SISAB. Methodology: A qualitative research will be carried out, with a descriptive and exploratory approach, using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. Expected results: Describe the process of collecting and recording information that feeds SISAB through e-SUS AB; Check, from the perspective of managers and users, the main problems found in the registration and retrieval of information in e-SUS AB; Identify the factors that interfere in the full integration of e-SUS AB and SISAB. Preliminary considerations: The integration between health information systems is of paramount importance for the quality of information, this way it will be possible to corroborate the studies of the stages of collection, recording and processing of information and contribute to a better understanding of the information processes in health.
