SUMMARY:

The research has as its central objective to diagnose the theoretical and empirical relationships between the terms "Competence in Information" and "Digital Inclusion". The research methodology is basic and quantitative in nature, bibliographic, documentary, descriptive and content analysis. We sought to the scientific journals of brapci, scopus, scielo and google scholar databases, published in the period 2018-2021. For this purpose, the comparative method is used, based on the following specific objectives, to Roll the CoInfo necessary to promote the strengthening of the Digital Inclusion process and to map, together with the databases, the publications that present theoretical and empirical relational propositions between Competence in Information and Digital Inclusion. Como resultado parcial, afirma-se que a relação entre CoInfo e Inclusão Digital foi efetivada apenas por um autor dos textos analisados, fato que chama a atenção, haja vista que, tal relação, trata-se de um tema relevante na era digital, sobretudo, para o campo da Ciência da Informação no Brasil. It was also noticed that the Brazilian political system of digital inclusion needs to invest in teaching-learning environments, in order to contribute to the development of CoInfo, including archives, libraries, museums and cultural centers, because they are places that construct knowledge, as well as the use and appropriation of information in the digital environment, as an instrument for conquering citizenship for all and for all. It can be affirmed that, in a way, the race for the construction of an Information Society in Brazil, which occurred in the 2000s is still in process, needing to emphasize that digital inclusion cannot be understood only as synonymous with installations and use of computers by the low-income population, only focused on training: technical, capacitive and instrumentalist, and rather, as an instrument applied to political, economic, cultural and informational development, enhancing, therefore, the capacity of criticality about the social reality in which the individual is inserted, in order to contribute to its social and digital transformation.
