SUMMARY:

Information is extremely valuable in decision-making processes in all areas. This is no different in healthcare, which constantly needs to position itself to meet the various informational demands, including legal issues as a result of lawsuits filed with a view to guaranteeing citizens' rights. Such issues are recurrent, especially when talking about drugs that are expensive and the population does not have the resources to pay for health treatments. There are countless challenges encountered in the management of public health information, specifically in the so-called Exceptional Medicine Pharmacies (FARMEX). The work has the general objective of studying information management within the scope of Farmex in Maceió, Alagoas. The methodology to be adopted in the research consists of a case study with the performance of qualitative research, questionnaire, database analysis, analysis of the research and questionnaire, compilation of data and construction of graphs.
