SUMMARY:

Sensitive information is an important asset in the contemporary scenario, often used to map and model the behavior of subjects, so it must be managed in the best way, using electronic systems and adjusting to the user experience and data protection. With this, we seek to analyze the management of sensitive information in the Electronic Information System in the State of Alagoas. In this perspective, the research has the specific objectives of describing the infrastructure that involves the registration of documents in the system; map the procedural flows in the management of documents inserted in the system; identify possibilities for managing documents aimed at protecting sensitive system data; characterize the contents related to the access levels linked to the documents registered in the system; and verify the user's experience in handling the management features of this system. The research, whose universe is the electronic system of Alagoas, will have as a sample the use of this in the Secretary of State for Planning, Management and Heritage of Alagoas, the managing body of the system, in the time frame from 2018 to 2023. Procedurally, regarding the objectives, it will be an exploratory and descriptive research, with the aim of mapping and describing the elements that condition the management of information and the protection of sensitive data, in the electronic information system. With regard to the approach, it will be a qualitative research, addressing the analytical categories that make up the structure of the system. And, as for the procedures, it will be a documentary and field research operationalized, respectively, via documentary survey and application of questionnaires. The first will be held with the public bodies of the State of Alagoas and the website of the Federal Regional Court of the 4th Region of Brazil. The second will be carried out with the application of electronic questionnaires with the users of the referred system. Data collection will focus on infrastructure, management, procedural flows and classification of information. And, finally, the data will be systematized in graphs and tables. The analyzes and discussions of scientific findings will be based on content analysis, operationalized in two phases, pre-analysis and analysis. It is expected to understand the information management conditions oriented to the protection of sensitive data, in the electronic information system in the State of Alagoas.
